So, maybe I was a little unfair.

Alright, so maybe I went a TAD bit overboard on the bluntness as far as my last posting went. There were a lot of:
“what about someone that goes that extra mile but still gets treated like crap” as well as:
“so what happens when you are a good boyfriend but the girl is the one that doesn’t act like a girlfriend?”

So here’s a blog to those girls that don’t appreciate the men that are actually worthy of being called gentlemen. You know the type don’t you ladies? Those that will take you out to eat “just cause,” and well, when the bill comes, it’s a “don’t worry about it” or “don’t you even think about it!” Now I must admit, there aren’t many of those men in MY life, but I do know of a couple.

Let’s just be fair now ladies. How many times have you accepted an invitation to go out to eat, not somewhere cheap, somewhere very nice, and never returned that favor? How many times have you called your “just a friend” crying and bawling your eyes out because the jerk (like the one mentioned in the last entry) did something stupid? And how many times has this happened where you never gave them even the time of day after the situation occurred? Mmhm.. Exactly.

What makes it even worse is the fact that these sweet guys that we take for granted will eventually turn into the jerk that we don’t want them to be, because of girls that treat them unfair and take them for granted. We play a role in their personalities as well as how they treat girls. Yes, there are guys that are just born jerks. But many were really very sweet prior to our encounters with them, but due to not being “handled with care”by others, we suffer the consequences.

So I know this is definitely a shorter blog than my other one, but I just had to get this out there before it left my mind.

One last thought: next time, before you take advantage of the guy that just seems to be “always there,” think of the next girl that might deal with them and because of YOU, they’ll have to deal with the jerk that you cry about.
